My name is Jakob. I am the founder of igluu GmbH and hold a Master of Science in Management and Technology from the Technical University of Munich. With over ten years of experience in energy storage technologies and photovoltaics, I bring a deep understanding of modern energy systems to every consultation.

About igluu
Igloos (Iglu in German) are simple structures with an amazing effect. From a few blocks of snow emerges a space that keeps out the wind and retains warmth. When built correctly, it can hold interior temperatures around the freezing point even when it is −40 °C outside; that is an incredible difference. This exact combination of simplicity and efficiency inspired me.
The second "u" in igluu stands for the U value, which measures the heat transfer coefficient of building materials. The lower the U value, the less heat escapes and the more efficiently the building operates. Therefore, igluu connects a clear visual image with a key metric in building energy efficiency.
